Cosima Terrasse is an artist and director who develops participatory art projects for public spaces, theaters and community spaces. Her works range from money-free casinos and data experiments for CERN to choreographies for dogs.
Under the label Laokoon, she explores the social impact of digitalization together with Hans Block and Moritz Riesewieck. In interdisciplinary projects, the trio combines artistic research with data experiments, theater productions, performances, radio plays and documentary films – always focusing on the question of how our image of humanity is changing in the digital age.
Her project madetomeasure.online was nominated for the Prix Europa in 2020, won the Information is Beautiful Award and reached millions of viewers.
She is currently working on a digital portrait of Vienna based on Google Maps. Her two-year participatory project for Chemnitz, European Capital of Culture 2025, will open in May 2025.
